YOUGER MUSIC GROUP
YOUNGER MUSIC GROUP
With the pairing of in-depth knowledge and a great team, we use entertainment to inspire people and bring them together. Not only do we produce, distribute and promote our artists and their work, we are dedicated to developing and managing artists and songwriters so they will have longevity in the industry. With a moral code that holds us and our artists to a high level of accountability and honesty, we are more than a company, we are a FAMILY.
Our goal was to maximize our clients’ growth potential by providing specialized marketing services to expand their artistic talent. We introduced entertainment properties as part of the marketing mix, secured celebrity endorsement deals and managed large events. We provided our clients the opportunity to reduce their to-do-lists by enlisting us to handle our areas of expertise. Our mission is to not only give our talents an audience, but also each client a unique experience through the entire process. We worked to maintain a corporate culture reflecting our values of high ethical standards, reliability and professionalism.
“As a veteran in the music/entertainment industry I’ve been involved in the evolution of the industry which has gone from grass roots to high tech. I was mentored by Keith Frye, former president of Capital Records, and pioneer in music industry promotions in the south. Under his guidance, I learned the fundamentals of artist development and I’ve spent my career perfecting what I’ve been taught. Now, I make it my mission to mentor or council aspiring artists in those same skills.”.
“Mentored Travis James, who is now running his own label, signed with Empire”.
“With more than 25 years in the fields of artist development, national distribution, promotions and marketing, and a track record of successfully creating campaigns, and
interpreting markets, I guarantee that my guidance will take you farther than going it alone.”
At Younger Music Group, one of our major focuses is on Artist Development. We cultivate our artists, teaching them the ins and outs of the music business. It starts with knowing the history of the genre of music you’re interested in and expands to knowledge of the music industry in general.
WE START WITH THE MUSIC
Are you writing? Performing? Can you do interviews? Can you speak well in front of crowds? Does your performance have life? Who are you modeling your shows off? What can we do to elevate your performance?
Then there is the history – whose footsteps are you following in? What did they do to change music? Who helped build their careers? What were some of the strategic moves they made? How can you, as an artist and entertainer, capture some of their magic and incorporate it into your own repertoire?
WE MOVE FORWARD INTO TODAY.
What is currently trending in the industry? How can we take some of the old school values and incorporate it into the new technology? Who is positioned where in the industry? What moves do we need to make to build your franchise? How can we align your brand with similar brands and similar artists to cross-promote and create mutually beneficial partnerships?
HERE IS ALSO WHERE WE DEVELOP YOUR FANBASE.
Do you have one? Can we build one? What would you like your relationship with your fans to look like? Where can they find you? How can they communicate with you? How much access should they have? What type of merchandise you will create for your fans? How will they become part of your community.
Artist Development is about developing a mindset. It is about understanding that we are all in this together and together we will build a lasting brand to create entertainers with longevity, not just another flash in the pan. It is about constantly writing, recording prolifically, developing your craft through practice, expanding your mind and your art, interacting with fans in a personal way, crafting your digital image and most importantly, handling your business(!) Together, we will create a career plan with actionable, manageable goals.
